ICE IEEE/ITMC is the International Conference on Engineering, Technology, and Innovation, part of the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society (TEMS). It developed from an early focus on the engineering approach of concurrent engineering to the general organisation of the engineering process and its organization within the corporation and in networks.
The ICE conference, therefore, discusses systems engineering as a socio-technical task focusing on the design of products and services, and the entrepreneurial innovation process, and adoptions of digital technologies and methods supporting the process of organizational digital transformation in society and the economy. By integrating academic research with industry perspectives, the ICE IEEE/ITMC offers participants the opportunity to explore the latest trends in engineering and digital transformation management, discuss best practices, and engage in forward-thinking discussions on the role of technology in shaping the future.
ICE IEEE/ITMC continues to broaden its scope, addressing the convergence of emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and blockchain with engineering and management practices, while also exploring their implications for sustainable development, ethical decision-making, and societal impact. Attendees are encouraged to engage in workshops, panel discussions, and networking sessions that foster collaboration across disciplines and regions. Through these interactions, the conference not only advances theoretical knowledge but also provides actionable insights that can be applied to real-world challenges in business and policy-making. As industries and academia increasingly face complex and dynamic environments, the ICE IEEE/ITMC remains committed to evolving alongside these changes. It focuses on bridging the gap between technological advancement and effective management strategies, ensuring that innovation is not only technically sound but also strategically aligned with societal goals. This comprehensive approach allows for a more nuanced understanding of how engineering and management practices can be harmonized to drive both economic growth and societal progress in a rapidly changing world.
The topics of interest are examples, other topics that fit into the areas of the conference are welcome.
ICE·2025 will focus on how artificial intelligence is reshaping industries by revolutionising traditional processes and enabling smarter, faster decision-making. This transformation is driven by AI's ability to optimize operations, enhance product development, and create new efficiencies in engineering and manufacturing. The conference will highlight how digital leaders can harness AI to foster innovation, improve competitiveness, and address the challenges of integrating cutting-edge technologies across industrial sectors. Attendees will explore best practices, strategic insights, and the evolving role of leadership in navigating this AI-driven revolution!
ICE·2025 Conference welcomes submissions of scientific papers directly connected with the Conference Areas & Topics but also industrial papers demonstrating relevant case studies and implementation of Engineering, Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Microsoft Word and LaTex templates with formatting instructions for full papers (min. 8, max. 10 pages length) can be downloaded from IEEE Templates.
The ICE Peer-Review involves three members of the International Programme Committee for reviewing each submitted paper while the Peer-Review Chairs, based on the review’s report, provisionally accept or reject it. After authors make the improvements recommended by reviewers, apply the IEEE PDF Express checker and transfer the copyrights to IEEE, the accepted final version will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements, at the condition that one author presents it during the allocated session at the conference.
NITIM Schools facilitate the development of doctoral research in the interdisciplinary field of Networks, Information, Technology and Innovation Management, bringing together Ph.D. candidates and faculty members in a focused, in-depth, and constructive discussion of the candidates’ research proposals. The school is organised once a year in cooperation with the ICE/IEEE ITMC Conference and thus takes place at changing locations.
